Meet Nneka Constantino—also known as Nneka S. Constantino and Nneka Serwaa Constantino—the host of Financial Fitness and an Economic Architect rooted in the Twin Cities, with St. Paul, Minnesota, at the heart of her community work.

Nneka created Financial Fitness to make conversations about money, wealth, retirement, legacy, and economic opportunity more practical and connected to real life. She brings more than 20 years of financial-services experience, including an 18-year career with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Professionally, she serves as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Her professional background also includes Piper Jaffray’s trading floor in Minneapolis and Smith Barney.

Here at KMOJ—The People’s Station—Nneka is the host and educator listeners know for bringing clarity, care, and purpose to financial conversations. She represents KMOJ in the community and is passionate about helping families, professionals, executives, business owners, and the broader community think more intentionally about financial decisions, retirement readiness, wealth planning, legacy, and economic empowerment. Her work especially supports conversations about Black women’s financial empowerment and wealth-building.

Nneka’s public work includes Financial Fitness on 89.9 KMOJ FM, community education, and media appearances. Her content contributed to the PBS/TPT collaboration Make Money Work, which was recognized with a Regional Emmy. Nneka Constantino is a vocalist with the Grammy Award-winning Sounds of Blackness and a graduate of Howard University. She is the daughter of Minnesota musical legend Cynthia Johnson, known for “Funkytown.”
